I take great pleasure in new and demanding challenges. I enjoy creative working environments and to work in collaborative projects, both intra- and inter-disciplinary. My objective in my work and research is to be applied, by which I mean that people should use the tools and methods I develop. Therefore I do not only focus on the methodology itself, but also the means on how to implement this in effective software.Specialties: Mathematical Statistics, Image analysis, signal & image processing, dynamical particle system estimation and simulation, automated positioning and tracking of objects from image sequences, and machine/statistical learning.
