I have a well rounded background with both in-depth ASIC/FPGA design as well as overall knowledge on schematics, layout, and project management of hardware products. My goal is to use my broad experience in hardware design and ASICs to be part of state-of-the-art projects and companies and make them successful. Specialties: Project management and technology/vendor selection for advanced ASIC design. Leading pre-studies and requirement definition for state-of-the-art SoC. Logic design for both FPGAs and ASICs. Have been part of many SoC projects, from architecture and specification, until mass production approval and release in products. Last few targeted ever more advanced FinFET technologies. I have a good understanding of the issues in modern ASIC technologies and how to navigate specifications and requirements to cover them. Architecture, performance, leakage, IR-drop, SI/PI, package and PCB layout, etc, are all fields I am comfortable to navigate in. Maybe not design in and lead all, but to be part of reviews and follow up. I have also earlier dealt with project management for hardware products (line cards and stand alone pizza-boxes) including dealing with software, operations, and other cross functional groups. Monitoring schedules and helping with schematic reviews, layout reviews, manufacturing test reviews, bring-up, and compliance testing.I enjoy to set some time aside to innovate and be part of creative creation of technical ideas, but also process improvements.
