Creating sustainable business gives me energy! As I enter a new phase in my career, my focus is on further developing what I have successfully worked with over the past 25 years, while adapting to new sustainability requirements. I offer guidance through the entire process – from current state analysis to developing circular space strategies and negotiating lease agreements that are both economically advantageous and aligned with the CSRD & CSDDD directives.My experience in designing and executing space projects has long been based on the understanding that spaces and lease agreements should be tailored to the needs of the business. But today, spaces, leases, and even working methods and collaboration need to be designed to support sustainable use. This means maximizing space utilization, reducing resource waste, and integrating sustainability principles that provide both business benefits and environmental gains.After nearly 25 years in the real estate industry, I have developed a deep understanding of how crucial it is for business spaces to be adapted to various operational needs. It encompasses everything from brand communication, efficiency, value creation, and employee well-being and creativity at work, to meeting new sustainability requirements, such as reporting on CO2 emissions, consumption of electricity, heating, water, and the amount of waste generated by the business.The upcoming circular economy is built on partnerships – where property owners, tenants, and suppliers collaborate, sustainable solutions can be created that maximize value for everyone. Together, new models can be shaped that drive both business and the transition towards a greener future.
