  • PhD Candidate, Department of Chemistry – Colorado State University Flux Closure Study (FluCS 2021)
  • Investigated the chemical composition of VOCs at a remote coniferous forest made at Manitou Experimental Forest Observatory (MEFO).
  • Measurements were made from the NCAR tower via custom built switching inlet at six different heights, using a High-Resolution Time-of-Flight Iodide Chemical Ionization Mass Spectrometer and High-Resolution.
  • Raw data was processed in Igor and MATLAB, post-campaign calibrations made with a Filter Inlet for Gases and AEROsol (FIGAERO).
  • QA/QC and synthesis of 3 mass spectral datasets into a Reactive Organic Carbon framework, which was organized into MATLAB data-structures based on: chemical family and measurement height. Statistical analysis performed.
  • Investigated aerosol composition, dispersion, and dilution-driven evaporation of cooking emissions in the indoor environment.
