Responsible for integration of three acquired companies. The companies ran project business in the energy sector, each with a size of ~200 employees. One based in Italy and two in the US. From a role as board chairman I worked closely with MD and management team of each company to achieve bottom line improvements in parallel with integration. Achievements during this period:• Turn-around of the Italy based company. Changes in business focus, structure and culture lead to significant profit improvements.• Transforming the US-based companies towards more; proactive sales and R&D-activities and active people development.

Strategy development and implementation but also leading cross-divisional initiatives such as; regional sales & marketing activities, organizational changes and improved working routines in common functions f ex engineering, market communication, HR and finance. Member of product boards – Product planning, R&D and supplyMember of boards responsible for steering and coordination in the product dimension across sales & marketing, development and supply. Through these roles I have built experience in product- & manufacturing-planning as well as in driving R&D activities.

One of the largest capital sales segments in Alfa Laval, with business in markets such as refinery, petrochemicals, mining and life science. I lead a central team of 70+ business managers and process engineers. Sales work was done both direct and via the network of Sales Companies having ~300 persons working under functional guidance from the Segment. Key responsibilities: • Global P&L responsibility – Accountability for global volumes, margins and costs.• Leadership and organizational development – Recruiting, leading and developing managers, specialists and generalists. Mostly very international teams. • Business plan development & implementation including development of; sales, marketing, products, applications, supply and services. • Direct involvement in sales & sales management – Hands-on involvement and oversight in quotation work, pricing, risk management, delivery and services.I achieved annual growth from 2011 to 2014, and initiated several strategic growth initiatives that are today still generating profitable growth.

Lead a newly created business segment, built around two teams with ~25 sales engineers. I managed the segment through the collapse of the bio-fuels market and drove an expansion into new markets including a geographical diversification of the Life Science business into Asia and a clear Oil & Gas growth strategy. The promotion into this segment manager role meant I also joined the division management team as VP Process Technology Division.

Copenhagen

Manager for all business in the Oil & Gas sector, with ~15 direct reports in a central team. I lead the unit through a complete business cycle.

Stockholm

Management consulting with focus on corporate transformation, including business processes reengineering, organization- and change management. Delivered several projects to Swedish majors with very high customer satisfaction scores.

First experience as manager. Lead a team of 4 application engineers with responsibility to develop the heat exchanger business in the Oil & Gas sector.
