Senior Account Manager for Elite and Premier partners in North America.

I work directly with StorageCraft Partners in the Northwest of the US and Western half of Canada. I enable them to offer the StorageCraft Disaster Recovery Solution. I provide them with the resources they need to delivery great disaster recovery solutions to their clients and customers.With my territory team, we develop our channel partners into the service and solution providers that they desire to become. They know that they can count on us to be there for them when they need us for their business development and solutions they can count on.

I work directly with StorageCraft's Channel Partners in TX, OK, and KS. I enable our partners success with the StorageCraft Disaster Recovery Solution. I provide them with the tools, resources, and knowledge to consistently deliver outstanding service and results with our solutions.I enjoy working with my territory team to develop and grow our channel partners into the service and solution providers they desire to become. They know that they can count on us to be there for them when they need us.

I performed a critical role at StorageCraft working in the Partner Lead Qualification position for our Inside Sales Team. I worked with the leads that our Marketing Team generated and reached out to them to ascertain their interest and ability to work with us as partners. As I qualified partners, I confirmed authorized officers of the new company and created their account. I also added any other important contacts to the account and introduced them to our products and account managers as they onboarded with us.I worked with our CRM systems (1st CRM Dynamics then Salesforce) as the primary tool in performing my work to record activities and to process leads into accounts. I identified processes that could be improved and worked with others to correct them. I provided feedback to Marketing to help identify and document critical information for the company.

Alpine offers several brands of fireplaces and stoves in all categories. Wood, Pellet, Gas, Coal. They are a manufacturer of their own brand of several different models of fireplace including models with the exclusive technology of Positive Pressure. They install and service the brands they carry and can assist in finding parts for brands they don't. They also offer Mantel's, Fireplace Surround's in Tile or Stone, and can do framing and drywall for fireplace areas. They currently have 6 showroom's from Boise, ID to St. George, UT with the original home office and production facilities in Lehi, UT. Matt currently works out of the Orem Showroom location.

My wife and I were distributors for a Multi Level Marketing Company called E'OLA International that sold Nutritional (Herbs & Vitamins), Skin and Body Care products. It was a great company that provided a good income to us and helped us help many people. We loved it. This was a valuable experience in many aspects of business - Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Management. I worked with this full time for 2 years and part time 8 years. I also worked as an office manager for my sponsor in this business for 2 years and then at other employment in addition to this during the 8 part time years.

Route Sales and Delivery. Required maintaining fresh food delivery, stocking and sales of up to 17 stores. Negotiating shelf and stock storage space and building a strong relationship with store managers was a necessity. Dependable and reliable service was the key in building trust of the store managers. In the course of the year I worked for Peak, I was able to multiply the sales of my route to over 3 times what it had been when it was first assigned to me.

Iron / Slag Side Blast Furnace Worker. Responsible for filling the appropriate ladels with furnace material, employing polution control devices, maintaining iron and slag runners and some parts of furnace, and assisting where called on on in the furnace area. Also certified as a furnace crane operator.

Assembled shrink wrapped packages of products. Cross trained in other areas including packaging, picking, and secretary/receptionist.

I worked for Peter Mazeika. He is the employer I still look up to the most in my life. He was a mentor and encouraged me when I was just starting my career path. I was his office manager for a time, but first started with him as a insurance telemarketer offering to give insurance quotes to local potential customers. I learned to give the quotes myself, prepare written policies for submission, respond to all office calls, and complete initial claims reporting for clients. I set appointments for Pete and I was privileged and honored to have worked for him.

I was a self (and family) financed, volunteer, full-time proselyting missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was a valuable experience that gave me back more than I was ever able to put in to it. Being a volunteer is more than a professional experience in so many ways. It required me to be sure of my beliefs and to be confident in representing them. I learned to be self motivated and disciplined to be loyal and true to what I believed in order to succeed. I loved helping people get what they wanted and I enjoyed sales before this time, but I was able to hone my abilities and gain valuable experience that would serve me well in my career later. I learned many parts of the Sales Process including - Prospecting in several forms, Presentation, Qualification, Building Trust, Establishing Need, Committing and Closing, Resolving Objections, Following Up, Referrals, Customer Retention and more. This was a time to learn the value of serving others freely and just doing good hard work. It was a period of great growth and learning at a young age for me and those I served with. I didn't fully realize at the time all that I would bring away from the experience that would help me in what became my profession, but I did find joy in helping people and developed a love of serving others.
