V&A Museum, London Sw7

The V&A created a live cinema experience of their sold-out David Bowie Is museum exhibition, which was screened in August 2013 in cinemas UK-wide. Working closely with V&A staff I extended usage licences for the wide variety of copyright materials included within: photographs, artworks, book covers, music publishing, master recordings, film footage, stills library images, library music and magazine covers.This involved direct communication with many third party suppliers, from individuals to large media companies in order to secure the necessary rights. All carried out in a very limited time frame to a challenging budget.Close collaboration was needed with the film producers in order that any issues were caught and highlighted early and best decisions were made for what content was included in the final film. Invoicing and licencing paperwork was created where necessary.
