• Perform installation and maintenance activities on wireless and radio frequency communications systems • Program, deploy, and maintain over 100 vehicle-based and handheld radios while coordinating with multi-state agencies to ensure proper system compliance • Manage and maintain a $500,000 tactical communications system integrating IP network, ground radio, and satellite communication elements in accordance with Department of Defense standards.• Supervise and oversee teams of 3-5 people to evaluate and resolve wireless communications projects• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure proper system operations during project operations

• Manage projects from conception to completion, including installation, testing and upgrading network operating systems software• Test, upgrade, and institute network operations systems software• Install and troubleshoot hardware for a $50,000 network-integrated radio communications suite

• Provide system engineering support for the acquisition, integration, and sustainment of a nation-wide Air Force communication system through reviews, studies, and procedural guidance. Exercise an in-depth knowledge of all communication frequency bands (VLF through EHF) and communications mediums (sub-terrestrial through satellite) to achieve life-cycle program goals• Supporting the development and administration of a Systems Modeling Language (SysML) model of the communication system. Work with mission partners to create a comprehensive system model consistent related DoD instructions, and standards while applying AF Systems Engineering Assessment Model Processes.• Collaborate with Systems Cybersecurity partners to effectively model and map National Institute of Standards Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls, while creating guidance to ensure proper development and implementation of future cybersecurity requirements.• Evaluate models from AF program offices and industry partners to ensure compliance and integration into the system model, including but not limited to: models detailing test and evaluation of systems of systems performance, component and data-interfaces, program/system composition, radio wave propagation simulations, and system specifications.• Provide System of Systems engineering analysis to support Systems Test, Verification & Certification, System Architecture, System Requirements Management , and System Configuration Management to assist in the preparation of design specifications, conceptual approaches and interoperability constraints for systems. Evaluate proposed systems for functionality, interoperability, maintainability, and overall efficiency and effectiveness.

• Work with senior engineers to support planning, design and execution of integration and verification tests forhardware and software modifications to the AN/TPY-2 radar system• Utilize both hardware and modeling/simulation software test environments to acquire radar systems behavior and performance data• Develop and apply test scripts and procedures for system performance analysis and acceptance testing
