Technology Solutions Specialist - Azure

An overlay role supporting working primarily with public sector Account Executives and Inside Sales Specialists as part of a wider virtual team including Solution Specialists and Partner-Sellers. A pre-sales role developing opportunities and passing to partners, in some instances this extended to the full sales cycle. Working with the V-Team and specialist partners to delivery webinars, workshops, executive briefings, and proofs of concept to customers. Key Responsibilities:• Provide customer briefings and Azure demonstrations via Skype.• Present at Executive Briefings.• Present at partner hosted seminars – both high level and product specialisation.• Uncover opportunities for other cloud workloads.• Identify whitespace opportunities.• Leverage customer wins to references in what was emerging technology.Product focus is Microsoft Azure; Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.Support customers in establishing a cloud strategy, or furthering cloud adoption by exploring cloud products and suitable workloads that can increase business efficiency and agility, and reduce costs. Working with specialist partners to delivery executive briefings, webinars, workshops, and proofs of concept to customers. While I am aligned to public sector I collaborate with the TSS's in other verticals and Hybrid Cloud, sharing our respective technical strengths to support the wider team. Likewise I work with the and teams for Office 365, Enterprise Mobility Suite, and Dynamics CRM Online, as customers regularly adopt a number of cloud products we need to be working toward the same goals.
