The primary roles of this position include:interpreting the IT Solutions strategy and ensuring strategy integration into daily IT Solutions work methods; consolidating customer requirement trends to assist with definition of future IT portfolio; ensuring the appropriate skill set and software training to solution all products in the UPS SCS service portfolio; overseeing non-standard solutions to ensure solution viability and approval by the Technology Information Committe; and leading a team of IT Solutions Managers & Engineers.

Responsible for developing supply chain solutions that meet customer needs and increase profitable revenue while controlling costs. The primary roles of this position include working with the Solutions Teams, Business Development and Program Management to develop solutions that meet customer needs and increase profitable revenue, and monitoring the quality of solutions, identify the value proposition to the customer and ensure voice of the customer is included from design through development and working with Business Development, Program Management and Operations to support successful implementation of the solution. This position works with the Sales Support and Systems group to ensure the cost model database has accurate data, works with Business Development and Strategic Global Accounts to gather customer business requirements and develop sales strategies for solutions.
