After creating documentation to allow my role to be done by others, I moved back to my original role, although in a more senior capacity. While I still oversaw the majority of my previous functions, I've trained new people to do the majority of the original functions, and focused mostly on our documentation and got my first taste of project management.Now I also handle the majority of our communications to our user base, and this summer I will be overseeing our summer intake program of approximately 400 new analysts and associates.

In this role, I got to work on higher level processes for more users, and get a good look at working on an operations team. Here I wrote and maintained remote computing documentation for global service team, and helped technicians resolve problems. I received elevated training with blackberry administrative tools, and used that training and knowledge to help resolve tickets that were not able to be resolved by other teams.I also oversaw our global support tickets, whenever something fell through the cracks, I would work with the user and either our internal team or the vendor to resolve, and then fill in those cracks in our documentation to reduce user downtime. I wrote most of the documentation that trained the team that took over my role, as well as support and user-facing documentation for our BYOD Solutions, such as Good and Mobile Iron.

Morgan Stanley

I was the wireless vendor and procurement specialist at Morgan Stanley, specifically working for our Investment Banking Division, Capital Market and Firm Management divisions.I was responsible for ordering and handling all of the hardware for the business units, as well as our remote computing and blackberry support. In this role, I got to rewrote our internal support documentation, the majority of which is still used. I was able to work closely with our high-profile users to identify their needs and figure out the best technology solutions for their daily challenges.I received a commendation for my work on the firm's deployment of the Good for Enterprise application.
