I worked on a project involving IoT device forensics, my tasks were largely dealing with browsing through the android file system for software artifacts stored on phones connected to various IoT devices that could be used in a investigation. I also worked on using hardware hacking techniques to physically take apart certain devices in order to identify UART pinouts and use them to potentially gain elevated access to a device itself.

Worked on a research project involving linux kernel programming which I used to interact with certain model specific registers and developed a C library to more easily interface with these registers.

Worked on testing different threat scenarios against a commercial EDR and reported findings to company and supervisors. Found blind spot in EDR to successfully compromise system without alerting EDR of compromise

I interned in their cybersecurity program and was using Splunk and Demisto to write searches for instances of malicious PowerShell activity, more specifically PowerShell Empire.
