A placement with the Assembly Member Joyce Watson where I worked in her fast paced and busy Assembly Office conducting research tasks related to constituency casework.

Day-to-Day Research for Jessica Morden M.P. Tasks included keeping the Member up-to-date with current events, particularly in the local media as well as conducting research on constituent queries. Also worked on a report into the effect of welfare reforms on Housing Associations in Gwent.

Aberystwyth

I was part of the record breaking team of fundraisers for Aberystwyth University. Our role centred around calling up alumni asking for them to donate on a one off or monthly basis to the University for a variety of good causes to keep the University running and helping to build a vibrant alumni community and build pride in the institution.

Cardiff

In this role I provided support for the Welsh Labour Party. I helped with day-to-day office tasks as well as helping to run newsletters to branches in the Cardiff Area. Furthermore, I learned how to use Voter ID software and conducting data inputting. I was also in charge of Campaign Logistics, this involved establishing routes for leafleting rounds, as well as ensuring that each campaigning team was well supplied furthermore. I had to regularly help campaigning on the doorstep, which developed my communication skills.
