Previously worked for SportsDirect International Plc, working within internal and buying systems team that is responsible for the development and maintenance of highly business critical software solutions within a fun, fast paced and challenging working environment. • Designed and developed Sports Directs £multi-million bespoke omni-channel Gift Card solution and Customer Loyalty platform, including the successful delivery of SportsDirect’s Gift Card, Credit Note and E-Voucher services integrated into their global POS, Ecommerce and Back-Office processing and payment systems;• Integrated SportsDirect’s Contactless Chip+PIN Payment Entry Device (Ingenico IPP350 PED) into their legacy POS, rolled out throughout the UK and Europe to over 1200+ stores; During this initiative I maintained command of European IT support teams within Ireland, Austria, Belgium and Estonia. In addition, I worked very closely with the external hardware supplier to manage hardware ordering and implement firmware updates and design the rollout schedule and store installation packs throughout the SportsDirect Group;• Designed and developed a £multi-million EDI solution with automated account settlement for major suppliers including Nike, Adidas, Puma, Reebok and Under Armour. Throughout this initiative, I had significant high-level stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery;• Designed and developed SportsDirect’s £multi-million Click + Collect, Customer Loyalty and Price Match POS interfaces providing an efficient and easy-to-use system for store staff;• Designed and developed a complex bespoke POS “Retail Promotions Engine” to over 6000+ UK and European POS tills to support nationally marketed in-store promotions including Black Friday, Cyber Weekend and Click+Collect gift voucher offer.

Previously worked for the examining body Edexcel, where I was employed for over ten years. My role as Analyst Software Developer involved the design, development and maintenance of key educational and testing software that underpinned the processing of GCSE, GCE, GNVQ, BTEC and NCT examinations and qualifications. In addition, I was involved with the configuration and testing of Edexcel’s core business systems and on-line marking application “ePEN”, used to digitally scan, process, and score high volumes of examination papers for the company as well as other contracted awarding bodies.
