I was promoted during a period of transition to lead the largest flagship location on the east coast with a sales forecast of 15 million. I oversee a staff of 60+ employees across all departments of the store including operations, repairs, rentals, sales, and lessons. During my tenure we grew our lessons program substantially and consistently exceeded KPI goals. During the COVID 19 shutdown, I advised corporate management on local regulations and stewarded store operations from home. During the reopening phase, I spearheaded re-staffing projects and led safety initiatives. Most recently, I supervised the closure of a nearby flagship location.

Courses I've taught include: MUS 320: Exploring Hip Hop, MUS 119: The Elements of Music, MUS 308: The History of Jazz, and MUS 109: Rock Popular Music and Society. Courses I've assisted include MUS 101: Introduction to Music and MUS 311: Music in China. In 2018, I was the recipient of the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching by a graduate student.

As speaker of the senate, I organized and led senate meetings of representatives from all departments. I sat on the executive committee for the Graduate Student Organization, responsible for representing the voices of my constituents. I organized multiple competitive grant competitions and acted as a confidential advisor to students through open office hours. Finally, I frequently met with administrators such as the Dean of Students to discuss issues in graduate student education and to advocate for student positions.

My main duties were to maintain library cleanliness (shelving/pickups), distributing A/V equipment to patrons, assisting in technical matters, and processing new orders. Additionally, I assisted students and staff with music research, conducting searches and recommending materials for projects.

As the primary ALC Support Staff member at the Schulich School of Music, I aided and instructed professors in operating the Crestron presentation system in a brand-new Advanced Learning Classroom. In addition to scheduled sessions, I remained on call to troubleshoot issues as a representative of the ICS department.

As Music Director I rehearsed, conducted, and prepared a cast of ~25 singers and a pit orchestra of ~20 players for two major Gilbert and Sullivan Operas: The Gondoliers (2011-2012) and Iolanthe (2012-2013). Additionally, as a member of the creative team I worked on other aspects of the productions such as logistics, budgeting, and design. Our productions were given excellent reviews by both professional and student publications in Montreal, with particular emphasis on the musical preparedness of the singers and players.

As Musical Director I rehearsed and prepared a cast of ~25 singers for a summer-stock semi-professional production of Kander & Ebb's Cabaret. I also assembled, prepared, and conducted the pit orchestra band throughout a three week run at the DB Clarke Theatre in Montreal, QC. Additionally, as member of the creative team, I was partly responsible for logistics, booking rehearsal space, cast management, and playing piano for dance rehearsals. I also was responsible for preparing and conducting smaller events for publicity, such as our performance at the 2012 Summer QDF Calendar launch. Our production received excellent reviews from most papers in Montreal and established theatrical websites.

As Music Director at GYFS I was responsible for preparing and instructing a cast of over 40 ages 8-60. In conjunction with the pit director, I made musical decisions and augmentations to the shows based on the needs of the cast. I prepared the choruses of children, teens, and adults, and privately coached the leads in vocal technique and acting.
