I lead the US Eastern Application Engineering team for CBRE Smart FM Solutions. My team executes world class BMS projects for many different local, national and global companies helping them gain better control and insight into their buildings. I have worked at CBRE Smart FM Solutions (formerly CBRE|ESI) since we were acquired by CBRE in April of 2016. I worked at ESI prior to the acquisition since May of 2012. During that entire period, I have worked on the application engineering team helping to deliver BMS projects all around the world. I moved into my current manager’s role in 2019 and have had anywhere between 7 and 15 direct reports that I have helped grow in the Building Automations Systems industry.I continue to use my 7+ years of experience in the field of the BAS industry to help troubleshoot complex issues when they come up for my direct reports, colleagues or our clients. However, my primary focus now is the growth and development of my direct reports in their technical skills using Niagara by Tridium, Distech Controls, DGLux by DGlogik and other applications in our BAS projects and in their soft skills such as communication, collaboration and adaptability. I am also heavily involved in strategizing the best direction forward for our 50+ person engineering team.
