Oversee the day to day running, of distribution,supply and storage. Ensuring the workforce adhere and work to best practices, current operating practices whilst always adhering to health and safety guidlines.I also mentor train and coach junior, younger members of the team, organise work rosters, leave applications etc.Another part of my job is ensuring that the fleet of MHE and large goods vehicles are roadworthy serviced on time and are taskworthy. Making sure that there are sufficient and correctly qualified drivers and operators.I also when required set up contracts with local companies ensuring value for money is met and that the subsequent contracts are managed correctly with all deadlines and dates met.

I was solely responsible for a huge amount of office furniture spread over multiple sites some 10,000 items. These were accounted for on a monthly basis by the end users and paperwork was signed, any losses or damages were highlighted and appropriate action followed a bill was raised or item swapped.
