As the Senior Project Manager for the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre (RDRHC) Redevelopment, I lead the strategic planning and execution of the largest hospital redevelopment project in Alberta’s history, valued at $1.8 billion. The Project Manager/Engineer (Infrastructure & Facilities) responsible for the planning and delivery of municipal capital projects and municipal facility upgrades as assigned. This includes the management and engineering of in-house projects or those delivered by engineering consultants. The Project Manager/Engineer will develop & monitor project scope, deliverables, budgets, designs and schedules to ensure that the project will meet appropriate and intended objectives. The Project Manager/Engineer will be responsible for undertaking functional studies, facility GAP assessments, pre-designs, detailed designs, tendering, contract administration, construction management, inspection, warranty management, and final acceptance of assigned projects.

As Project Manager, Facility Infrastructure & Engineering I was responsible for the management of a large portfolio of projects. This includes upgrading and improving the physical facility, major capital projects, and all renewable energy initiatives. I worked in collaboration with the Facilities Maintenance team, third-party service contractors, institutional partners, and the College community to deliver on RDP's strategic goals.I have been a leader in the design and construction of many projects with RDC, below are a few of those projects:The Gary W. As Project Coordinator I was responsible for providing construction and project management support for a multiphased $150+ Million development of seven buildings in the span of 11 months. I worked with a large project team in an efficient manner while learning and growing. I ensured client satisfaction through detailed scheduling, weekly and monthly executive reports, and large scale cost reduction purchasing methods. Furthermore, my team was able to maximize job profitability throughout this project at a record high.

Responsible for planning, designing and coordinating all aspects of current and future RDP facility projects such as, facility planning, renovations, new construction, infrastructure renewal and recycling of existing space. This position coordinates and communicates project designs, construction and close-out activities with internal and external contacts. The Project Coordinator is also responsible for developing strategy, drawings, specifications and tender documents.

During my employment with KCB I was involved in all aspects of the business, my primary role was renovation estimating and sales.Among my duties I supervised, reviewed, and advised staff and sub trades, I created and maintain online job schedules, and manage ongoing projects. I provided systems analysis of the company, software and staff processes. I implemented multiple new streamlined processes and software to fit a growing company. Mainly accounting and estimating methods and software, resulting in an increase of efficiency, profits, and company growth.

As an Estimator I quote and present construction projects such as kitchen renovations, bath remodels, and large additions. As an Architectural Technologist I read and interpreted multiple residential construction drawings, I also drew and designed multiple residential and commercial projects. I present quotes and contracts to clients addressing any questions and requests to meet customer satisfaction.

Work in the Central Alberta area as a Carpenter and Renovation Specialist for Residential Construction

As a Project Technologist I had multiple responsibilities. I maintained software updates, in house IT support, software troubleshooting I estimated all structural steel quotes for review to clients in the form of a project bid. I also assisted in the overall bids for entire pipeline and facility construction. I was the Assistant Supervisor on site, creating all field tickets and on site orientations, working under site sup managing all job costs, relaying data and information to main office. I Read and interpreted multiple Pipeline and Facility Construction drawings. I was in charge of the Transportation department, monitoring all trucks and equipment. I followed all hours of service legislation with our drivers to ensure they met government regulations. I retrieved driver logs then assessed and trained where needed. I filed and updated all driver systems. I was also a part of the marketing team. I created, updated and maintained their social media (Among those I created, Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in, Indeed). I helped promote at expos, golf tournaments, and Rebels games. Finally I help HR with the hiring process, I assisted in finding key personnel to bring in for interviews.

As an Architectural Technologist I read and interpreted multiple residential construction drawings, I also drew and designed multiple residential projects.
