In 2017, I founded my graphic design firm, DuGood Creative aiming to help entrepreneurs and small business owners connect with their prospects and clients. The “Du” comes from “DuBois,” and “Good” from “Goodell,” which was my father-in-law’s last name. The name DuGood Creative serves the dual purpose of honoring him and being a play on “do good, creative works.” Our clients comprise a mix of white-collar and blue-collar sectors including legal, real estate, coaching, moving, and paving, which has broadened our knowledge base and allowed us to employ ideas from diverse origins. The most enjoyable aspect of my work entails collaborating with my clients about their goals and using my logo and design skills to help them connect with their ideal audience. Projects range from simple business card refreshes to complete rebrands. The vital part of my job is making sure the client gets heard and that their new visual identity reflects their daily work. In 2020, I started a new project wanting to create something online with people from all over the country and then, the world. So, in May of that year, I created Veets, short for “virtual meets.”Here are a couple Veets reviews:“I want to recommend Veets as a great networking event. It is a mix of new and returning people, which gives attendees a chance to start to get to know people but also see some fresh faces. Matt does such a great job of organizing. My favorite thing is the PDF that we get of everybody’s information, but he also always brings great questions and helps us all find ways to help each other in our businesses. I highly recommend Veets, and I hope to see you there!” – Dana Zellers“There are two reasons why I really like Veets. #1 Veets gives me the opportunity to fish in other networking ponds…#2 I really, really like the community that is being built at Veets. I attend the Monday group, and there are some really, really great professionals in there. So, if you’re looking to expand your opportunity and your network in a virtual environment, I highly, highly encourage you to attend a Veets meeting.” - Greg Cross, CEO of Glimpsevideo.comVeets events are flexible, supportive, and relaxed. We have meetups five days per week with varying attendees and no category restrictions, welcoming professionals from the fields of hospitality, videography, IT, consulting, social media, food, and many others. We would love to host you at one of our calls! To visit a Veets event, go to www.veets.io
