I have spent over twenty years working in the community association management industry in a variety of roles, from assistant to COO. I didn’t say I had spent over twenty years managing HOA’s because HOA’s have a bad reputation, in spite of the fact that years of polling conducted by CAI’s research foundation show that the majority of people living in HOA’s value their HOA (I’m including condos when I talk about an HOA). I think we can do better as an industry at helping homeowners understand the value of their HOA. I am passionate about streamlining processes and educating homeowners about how and why their HOA works the way it does to help homeowners love their HOA and Action team members love where they work.By focusing on how the make the experience of interacting with the HOA more frictionless, we can grow the company, create opportunities for team members to develop new skills and advance their careers, and improve people’s lives at home.
