With over 13 years of experience in law enforcement, I am currently a Lieutenant at the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, where I lead three detention operations teams and supervise five sergeants and fifty-seven assigned deputies. I am responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the inmates, staff, and visitors and managing the daily operations, budget, and compliance of the detention facility.I have a strong background in criminal investigations, having served as a Detective Sergeant for more than two years. I led the property crimes unit, the investigations training program, and the crime and intelligence analyst for the investigations division. I have successfully solved numerous cases, collaborated with various agencies and partners, and utilized innovative technologies and methods.I am also passionate about developing my leadership and organizational skills and advancing my education in my field. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Organization Studies at the University of Denver, where I have also completed the Public Safety Leadership Development Program. Additionally, I have earned the prestigious Trilogy Award from the FBI-LEEDA, which recognizes my completion of three leadership institutes and my supervision, management, and executive leadership achievements. I am also studying cybersecurity, as I believe it is a vital skill for the future of law enforcement.I am a transformational leader looking to build high-trust team environments.
