Matt has been guiding heliskiing all over B.C. and Chile since 1999. An explorer at heart, he enjoys skiing in new areas and the adventure of finding new “classic” heliski runs with his guests.Matt welcomes everyone to B.C.’s newest heliski and cat ski operation in the Central Monashee Mountains. He promises everyone will have a great time both on and off the slopes. The next few years will have lots of exploration and naming of runs for all Kingfisher’s guests. Come and put your name into the history books.Matt is a senior instructor for the Canadian Ski Guides Association, a professional member with the Canadian Avalanche Association, a Level 4 CSIA certified ski instructor and level 3 CSCF ski coach.When not out skiing, Matt can be found high up in the mountains with his dog “Miles” aka “the Black Mamba” cutting helipads, and developing the backcountry Kingfisher mountain bike program.
