My role at Atticus is to lead a team delivering highly strategic qualitative research solutions.Our business model is based on the simple premise of choosing the right people for each project. We often work with other independent researchers, all director level, who we have known for many years and who, like us, have sought to achieve the freedom from corporate structures to design and deliver the very best research. This makes good business sense for us. In so doing, we have a healthy, balanced quality of life, and loyal clients who come back for more. And we can then focus on doing the job we love instead of having to constantly market ourselves to new clients, to replace those we have disappointed, due to impossible workloads or lack of resource! Many of our research projects are highly strategic in nature, including strong elements of understanding the consumer experience, the nature of customer journeys, and how the way products and services are presented and communicated to consumers, influences their actual behaviour. This presents a huge challenge and constant innovation - but this is what we love about the job and what keeps it so fresh - every project presents a new challenge and seeing the results of our consumer insights being put to good use, and deliver brands, products and services that work for consumers and deliver return on investment for our clients, is incredibly rewarding.
