• Contractor on oil and gas drilling sites• Sole operator on site during shift• Working in a high production environment• On call 24/7 while on site above and beyond regular duties• Assisting rig crew with machine needs• Loading / unloading / placing drill pipe, casing for well, supplies, chemicals, expensive directional drilling equipment, swamp matting, pipe racks, and other parts for drilling rig operations• Maintenance and minor repairs of excavator (daily fluid level checks, greasing, oil changes, hydraulic line replacement, fuel line replacement, track repairs/remounting/adjustments)• Ordering trucks for hauling as needed• Mixing wet loads of shale rock with wood chips into haulable material to load out into end dumps for hauling to hazardous waste dump site• Ditching and building berms around drilling rig site to collect run-off and reduce chance of environmental impact• Working in tight spaces• Using spotters when necessary, eye contact and pre-discussed hand signals• Rotating work schedule of 20 days on and 10 off• Camp accommodations• Self paid / organized, travel to and from job site
