Bringing the Challenger Agency for Challenger Brands to NYC

Joined one of the world’s most renowned digital shops to help build out their complete marketing offering and manage several of their integrated marketing clients including Zelle and Nokia.

Led the relaunch of Partners + Napier NYC from satellite office to brand strategy and creative agency.   Built a team from scratch (attracting world class talent), defined the vision for a full agency rebrand, developed deep media and industry search consultant relationships, grew revenue by deepening our client rooster to include Lufthansa Airlines, Players Tribune, Blackboard Education, Nokia Technologies and the Outdoor Advertising Association of America.

In 5 years at Ogilvy I led multiple multinational businesses (Philips, Kraft, Cisco), as well as multiple NA businesses (Stolichnaya, Time Warner Cable, Bacardi/Grey Goose), completely resurrected and redefined the Account Management group across disciplines (2010), as well as led the NY agency to win Most Effective Agency in North America two years running as leader of the ERC (EFFIE Review Council). Most recently, led the Philips global and NA business to award winning status (both B2C and B2B), and 3x reveune growth; this was also a business I helped pitch and win in 4Q 2011.

I spent 4 years at Deutsch where I led client businesses and brands like IKEA, Kodak and Novartis. As well as led big new business wins like USAA and project work from Anheuser Busch.

NYC: 1994 - 1999, 2004 - 2006Bangkok: 1999 - 2001 Sao Paulo: 2001 - 2004 London: 2004 - 200512 years all in at JWT. The first five years were in NYC focused on CPG/Beauty care working on Warner Lambert and Unilever. Then to Bangkok to run the Southeast Asian Unilever business and to serve as one of five Group Directors in that office. After two years in Bangkok I was off to Sao Paulo, Brazil to run the Unilever Lux business. From Brazil we globally re-launched one of the world’s biggest and most enduring beauty brands, which resulted in global double digit growth, multiple creative awards and a strategy that lives on today. From Brazil I went to London then ultimately back to NYC where in both locations I was on the leadership team for the global and NA Debeers business responsible for driving the iconic Diamonds are Forever campaign as well as leading all marketing activity in North America.
