In a career spanning more than 40 years, Matthew R. Dugan, an accomplished and driven energy sector project professional and leader, has a wealth of experience in project delivery amassed while working for leading, high-profile organizations. Mr. Dugan currently serves as Senior Project Manager for sPower leading their first two Battery Energy Storage System Projects: Luna and LAB. These projects, 400 and 508 MWH respectively, are located adjacent to sPower solar generation projects and play a key role in making this renewable power available to the grid during periods of peak consumption.In his prior role, Mr. Dugan was Project Director and Vice President for AES Southland, where he is responsible for the delivery of a large portfolio of high-profile power projects, including 2 CCGT and 2 BESS projects. Mr. Dugan previously worked for Bechtel Power for over 30 years, serving in such roles as Project Manager, Business Development Manager, Construction Area Manager, and Project Engineering Manager. During his tenure at Bechtel, he was involved in a wealth of key projects both domestically and internationally, and consistently met the highest in performance expectations. A Registered Professional Engineer and Six Sigma Champion, he is proven in seeing all projects to their successful completion. Mr. Dugan earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.
