Assist graduate students in research projects. Current and past projects are titanium hydride and functionally graded tungsten carbide. Most work includes using SEM, EDAX, dilatometer, non-destructive hardness tests (Vickers and Rockwell), furnaces, glove boxes, and other laboratory equipment.
