North America Commercial Director, Myopia
CurrentResponsible for leading cross functional business unit to include product marketing managers, sales managers, sales operations manager, and professional education manager. Business unit was focused on launching Johnson & Johnson Vision’s Myopia Management strategy in North America.• Led recruitment, interview process, and sales training for entire North America commercial organization. Diverse sales force of experienced medical device professionals and licensed optometrists is recognized by customers as a key differentiated feature of J&J Visioncare’s myopia management model.• Developed and executed clinical sales training program by partnering with third party professional societies and clinical professional education consultants.• Managed complexities of launching a 3rd party license agreement and a Canadian launch during COVID 19 restrictions. • Built strategic partnerships with key industry partners and clinical societies to include, Treehouse Eyes, The American Association of Orthokeratology Myopia Control (AAOMC), and The Power Practice. • Enhanced go to market business model by conducting market research studies to determine most prevalent topographer systems. Then coordinated with software supplier to increase fitting software compatibility from 33% to 80%. • Developed comprehensive professional education strategy to engage clinicians in every customer segment, and recruited faculty of nationally recognized key opinion leaders (KOLs).• Analyzed key needs assessment gaps, briefed J&J Visioncare senior leadership, and aligned resources to address critical needs.
