Senior Benefits Manager
CurrentLead a team focused on all benefit responsibilities for the US and Canada with a headcount of 1800+ and growing. Ensure all plans are in line with the organizations goals while remaining competitive in the market. Project Manager for all benefit consolidations due to company acquisitions.• Partner with senior management to develop benefits strategy.• Analyze and select all benefit plans including health and welfare, retirement, and leave administration.• Manage vendor relationships including brokers, third party administrators, auditors, and carriers. Review reports, conduct meetings, and ensure compliance with plan provisions.• Develop communications to inform and educate employees on company’s benefit plans and wellness initiatives. • Lead benefit renewal process and manage open enrollment.• Partner with legal, finance, and payroll functions regarding plan operations, funding, and accounting.• Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations as well as filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Workers Compensation, DOL requirements, and the Affordable Care Act.
