Seashore Engineering Pty Ltd was established in February 2012 to deliver high quality coastal and maritime engineering expertise through the joint resources of Damara WA Pty Ltd and Shore Coastal Pty Ltd.

Matt has been director of Damara WA for 20 years (!), developing a niche consultancy specialising in coastal processes and dynamics. Damara WA draws together applied knowledge of coastal morphology, oceanography, maritime structures and hydrology. Matt worked in the Port and Marine Section of Egis Perth office, contributing to a diverse range of technical studies. These included extreme water level assessments for Exmouth and Port Hedland, preparation of an operations manual for Bunbury Storm Surge Barrier. Matt worked as a graduate engineer at the Department of Transport supporting several senior coastal engineers. This diverse role included coordination of Dawesville Channel environmental monitoring program and provision of technical support for the Department's maintenance dredging program.Matt's main projects for the Department included design of Exmouth Boat Harbour main breakwaters and investigations regarding vessel access to Murchison River entrance at Kalbarri.
