With over 15 years of progressive experience in travel and tourism, spanning frontline, corporate, and consulting roles, I specialize in sustainability and reporting. Over the past seven years, I've immersed myself in sustainability management through education and both in-house and management consulting positions, spearheading impactful initiatives for some of the most well-known organizations, including Fortune 500 companies. In my most recent role at MGM Resorts International, I directed global sustainability strategy, data, and reporting, focusing on critical areas of decarbonization, water stewardship, and sustainable supply chain management. I also led greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting covering Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions as well as managing external assurance. Through strategic vision and cross-functional collaboration, I consistently delivered measurable results.Some of my key achievements include:• Developed 20+ sustainability reports aligned with key industry frameworks: GRI, SASB, TCFD • Served on the MGM Resorts ESG Task Force and provided strategic sustainability insights in Board meetings• Led climate target development and SBTi verification, securing approval of 1.5-degree alignment for MGM Resorts• Drafted a water white paper and led the development of a global water stewardship strategy, resulting in MGM Resorts becoming the first gaming company to endorse the CEO Water Mandate• Directed CDP reporting, achieving CDP A-List status (one of few out of 23,000+) for MGM Resorts• Founded a business resource group dedicated to sustainability at MGM Resorts, recruiting over 600 members and planning over 20 events with leading environmental nonprofitsOutside of work, I am deeply involved in environmental initiatives, contributing over 500 volunteer hours in 2023 alone, including serving as a board director at the Southern Nevada Conservancy, where I championed responsible recreation and environmental education.
