Developed PLC logic to integrate production equipment with enterprise systems:Production Routing and Tracking - implemented logic to dynamically locate vehicles and deliver the correct build information to robots and other tooling.Quality Control - created a system that interfaces with torque controllers, alerting personnel when a fastening process failed to meet specification. This project generated an additional $50,000 in revenue for EDS.Vehicle Dimensional Integrity - integrated a laser measurement system with existing quality tracking systems, determining when robot processes require realignment. This project generated an additional $150,000 in revenue for EDS.Created proposals for similar systems to be utilized in CAMI's future welding facility, which manufactured the 2006 Pontiac Torrent.
