Our client's portfolios are balanced/multi strategy so they contain a wide range of asset classes and investment vehicles with varying degrees of liquidity (everything from treasuries to private investment partnerships). My role in the DC office is both to support a senior portfolio manager as well as be the primary portfolio manager for a growing number of relationships. Both roles involve asset allocation, investment analysis, IPS writing and recommendations, client communications (including running client meetings), portfolio modeling/rebalancing, and reporting.
