Attending breakdowns on the smoke meters and gas analysers whether that be fault finding and/or fixing and repairing, attending sites to calibrate to the requirements of the DVSA and giving the customer a certificate (UKAS) of the specific machine, phone support to customers to either determine what the fault is, whether it’s a quick fix over the phone or if I need to visit site to sort the issue, phone support to other engineers, drive many miles to different garages every day, working under pressure to get to as many jobs done in my day as I can, fill out paperwork and certificates on site to give to the customer and post a copy in to the office so we have a copy on hand for our record, order my own parts with the office, run a busy area of 300+ customers.

Attend pubs to repair fruit machines, quiz machines, juke boxes, pool tables, all types of amusement arcade machines in bowling alleys, install juke boxes, pre wire pubs, recover pool tables on site when they were having big league matches, deal with the cash in the machines, assist collectors and escorting large amounts of money.

Prepare, clean, fix and test fruit machines and quiz machines to go out to customers, recover pool tables.
