Matt and his Partner David Earp founded EG Home in 2013. EG Home is a Production home builder and at the end of 2022 had built over 250 homes in 5 distinct communities across the state. EG Home has been decorated with numerous dusty awards including Builder of the Year 2020. EG Home is headquartered and operates its Design Center in Southbury, CTUpon graduation from Villanova University, Matt was commissioned in the United States Navy as a Special Operations Officer. He served for 9 years, spending the majority of his deployed time in the Middle East and Africa leading a team of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2006 Matt chose to pursue a civilian career building homes and Matt spent six years learning the business from two of the country's biggest production builders, KB Home and Toll Brothers.
