I am currently employed in the Strategic Regeneration & Economic Development Team at Oldham Council. I assist with all aspects of the implementation of development projects and initiatives that form part of the Council Regeneration programme. I assist and prepare development appraisals and feasibility studies in connection with both individual developments and projects that are part of wider regeneration initiatives.I also manage development projects which includes attending multidiscipline and departmental working groups, dealing with property consultants or other professional advisors. I help companies and investors with enquiries for relocation, expansion, development or investment opportunities within the Borough. Occasionally I conduct negotiations for the acquisition or disposal of property on behalf of the Authority.I assist in the preparation of valuations for development projects which includes comparison, residual, profits equivalent reinstatement and investment methods in accordance with the RICS Global Standards, for sign of by the Principal Surveyor.
