At World Fuel Services, I participated on the Applications Development Team, "The Navigators", responsible for aviation fuel pricing. I learned to develop, test, debug, and deploy enterprise-level web applications through real industry experience.• Fully migrated vital company webpages from a legacy tech stack to a modern one consisting of Angular, GraphQL, and Spring Boot. Tested and deployed code through Jira, Bitbucket, Docker, etc. Resulted in a highly improved user experience as well as better app performance.• Contributed to the company's reusable Angular component library in Storybook, leaving a lasting impact for full-time application developers at WFS in their workflow.• Analyzed logs from New Relic and other sources, giving me a better understanding of performance and optimization of web apps.• Contributed to Agile workflows by attending daily standups, backlog refinements, and sprint retrospectives with the Navigators applications development team.
