Currently employed (8 years ongoing) as the manager of a busy University core facility i have extensive experience in most aspects of Flow Cytometry, Confocal microscopy, fluorescent imaging and related analytical techniques. This is built on a foundation of 10+ years bench experience in molecular techniques, cell culture and experimental design and trouble shooting. This analytical service and experience has contributed to 6 peer reviewed authorships and well over 100 technical acknowledgments in peer reviewed publications and theses. Pure science aside, the managerial role has also provided and enhanced extensive experience in timetabling, billing, cross platform correspondence, and other day to day managerial administration skills, as well as lecturing and teaching.
