Matt Gouldby is a Director and Delay Expert with Yendall Hunter with more than 15 years of experience in the engineering and construction industries, with over 12 years’ experience in delay analysis and construction disputes. Matt has been appointed as an independent delay expert and has advised clients in respect of delay and disruption matters providing independent expert advice on delay and disruption matters prior to, or as part of, litigation (such as the UK Technology and Construction Court) and arbitration proceedings (under various institutions including the ICC, LCIA and DIAC) in civil and common law jurisdictions.Matt has worked on over 50 disputes across a range of industries including; oil and gas facilities, airports, highways, rail, healthcare, commercial and residential buildings, shipbuilding, water supply and sewerage systems, power generation, IT and telecoms in the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Prior to joining Yendall Hunter, Matt worked in the Forensic Services team at PwC and before that, Matt spent 5 years working in various engineering and construction management roles with a major UK Contractor.Matt has a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey (MEng Hons), is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE) and is professionally registered with the Engineering Council.
