I'm lucky to have had have so many wonderful opportunities in public education. I've been a Teacher, a Coach, a middle school Assistant Principal, a high school Principal, a District Title I Director, and a District Director of Student Services. As Student Services Director, my primary focus is on supporting students and families who encounter barriers to achievement because of housing instability, abuse or neglect, mental illness, and a wide variety of other circumstances.I earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters of School Administration at Western Carolina University. While I've spent almost 30 years in public education, I first worked as an Account Associate for Bankers Trust Company in New York City (1984) and as a Ski Host in Jackson Hole, WY (1987).
