Computational chemistry also provided the understanding of characteristics and properties of complex molecules. Major research project involved the application of small molecule fluorophores for cellular imaging and bioanalytical techniques such as gel electrophoresis. Extensive experience was also gained in mentoring students undertaking research projects within the group.
