Specialising in Building Services / M&E and Civil Engineering / Infrastructure works in the private and public sectors; contract values to approximately £20m. At MH QSolutions Ltd; we are conversant with all forms in the JCT suite of contracts, NEC and related standard forms of sub-contract or works contract. We also administer non-standard forms of contract and the generation of flow down clauses and provisions downstream. In addition to supporting the construction industry; MH QSolutions Ltd have a wealth of experience in supporting and developing Aerospace & Automotive Engineering / Manufacturing companies with interaction at Board Level through to Shop Floor, UK and abroad. The role maintained the commercial department; in functionality and in co-ordination with operational requirements and was directly responsible for 5 staff and up to 15 concurrent projects. Projects were typically £1.5m – £15m which in the main were JCT and NEC; including related standard forms of sub-contract or works contract. The role additionally oversaw and supervised the operations team responsible for local work and fast track projects ranging from £50k - £1m. The Commercial Manager was holistically responsible for the procurement and direction of all consultants and sub-contractor / specialist trades (all disciplines; Civil Engineering, Building and Building Services / M&E / MEP) and also directly managed and developed Merit’s sub-contract procurement strategy whilst being responsible for facilitating enquiries through to the execution of the sub-contracts
