Largely user driven using documentation I prepared.Boeing 787 Maintenance Laptop Tools – Design authority and solution deployment of the specialised hardware and software builds for the Boeing 787 Entry into Service.Active Directory Design Authority – Ensuring that integrity and management of Active Directory was maintained throughout the organisation. This ensured a level of consistency and stability enabling a reduction in support calls.Corporate Desktop Design Authority – Solely responsible for 6 iterations of the desktop and laptop builds including latest Windows 7 build, which spanned several different manufacturers and ensured a stable environment for corporate applications worldwide. This included application co-existence testing and regular reviews both internally and by external companies. All these builds have been stable and only required minimal modification in operation type changes.Citrix Upgrades – Design Authority for migration from Citrix Presentation Server 1.8 to Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 spanning two farms and 500+ applications accessed worldwide. Design Authority for upgrade to XenApp 5.0 which successfully migrated 50+ servers to the new version. Citrix has prevented Virgin Atlantic Airways from having to increase its expensive WAN network for several years now.Anti-Virus Design and Implementation – Solely responsible for the design of endpoint Anti-virus architecture and design covering all worldwide sites, ensuring that endpoint integrity and consistency is maintained.
