Strategy development• Managed an interdisciplinary team of consultants and programmers to develop a cutting-edge analytical tool to model facility footprint in nationwide healthcare network. Model allows for integrated view of healthcare system enabling sophisticated long-term planning. Worked with client and developer teams to identify and prioritize feature development. Led quality control process for the tool. Designed governance model dividing decision rights among stakeholders (e.g. annual updates, new features, model logic changes, etc). Oversaw in-person training of 40+ client staff in tool use, and development of training materials and technical documentation• Supported the development of an HR strategy for international finance institution to improve employee morale and increase collaboration and knowledge sharing. Developed and administered survey to evaluate how ~50 sales staff were spending time. Identified opportunities to transition responsibilities away from sales team, allowing them to focus on higher-value activities sought by their customers (e.g. reviewing customer lending strategy, discussing particular mortgage products, etc)

• Facilitated the implementation of a new upstream operating model for major oil and gas company. Analyzed the process used to make exceptions to engineering plans. Identified several opportunities to streamline the process. Developed playbooks and other materials to educate executives and staff on the new operating model

• Advised 11 foreign clients on their operational and corporate strategies to expand into Ethiopia (e.g. whom to partner with, what population to target, how to structure organization legally, etc). Served as representative and advocate for clients to in-country organizations and Ethiopian government on a range of issues (e.g. supplier identification, official approvals, etc)• Led a team of 5 in a consulting engagement with a nonprofit working in 22 counties to define a nation-wide strategic plan in Ethiopia (where to operate, whom to serve, etc). Collected and analyzed data from over 30 sources in 5 languages. Worked directly with the client’s COO and Country Director who both reported the highest level of satisfaction with team’s work• Conducted on-the-ground due diligence for potential investment in an Ethiopian car manufacturer for US-based private equity fund

• Oversaw fundraising, communications, staffing, and strategic decisions for a challenger in one of the national party’s top-targeted US House races • Managed the day-to-day operations of the campaign’s fundraising operation which raised $1.6M – 434% of comparable campaigns in the 2010 cycle• Organized a 28-day tour of the district’s 28 counties. Managed 13 campaign staff and 220 volunteers• Cultivated and oversaw media coverage of the candidate and race in CNN, Politico, Congressional Quarterly, Roll Call, the Christian Broadcasting Network, and numerous state and national papers and blogs, taking the campaign from obscurity to one of the most-watched-challenger House races in the country

Taught environmental science to 3-5th graders in Boston's Chinatown. Spent second year working in the development department and working on a mentorship program for students at Fenway High School.
