Maintained systems by daily operations and applying all system patches and Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for Operating System and installed applications including Active Directory, Exchange, Internet Information Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Sharepoint and Microsoft Threat Management Gateway.

Four month training program for Financial Advisors. This training included attaining the General Securities Registration Exam (Series 7), The Uniformed Combined State Law Examination (Series 66) and the Pennsylvania State Insurance Registration exams. Upon completion, I moved into door to door sales prospecting potential clients for Edward Jones. Once a client was interested, I would evaluate financial state, develop recommendations and present the recommendations to the potential client. This included preparing for retirement, attaining a better return on their investment, savings money for college, planning for unexpected events or saving money on taxes.Once we found an appropriate solution for their financial need, I open customer accounts, assisted with transfer or rollover of funds and purchasing the required securities while ensuring compliance with all Federal and State Regulations for the Financial Industry.

Providing on-site customer support, I gained experience with phone, remote and desk side support for hardware, software, printing, and network connectivity issues. Hardware support included installation, configuration and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops w/ docking stations, monitors, hand-held devices, and video teleconferencing equipment. Software support included installation, configuration and troubleshooting with Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0, 2000, XP operating systems; Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook versions 97, 2000, and 2003. I also supported multiple commercial off the shelf and company proprietary applications. Network connectivity support included: running and terminating CAT5 and Token Ring cable, installing hubs and switches, testing the network drops, installing Wireless Access Points, and configuring network interface cards with IP Address, Sub mask, Gateway, DNS, WINS, and proxy server settings. The Network Administration provided experience with User Manager and Active Directory creating and managing users and groups, setting user/group rights and permissions, creating logon scripts and drive mapping. I would ensure that all users in the domain had appropriate level access to all network resources. Using Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), I would update workstations and servers to include anti-virus updates, Microsoft security updates, service packs and software installations.
