Professional Sales and Leadership Coach Matt has been involved with sales for his entire career. From his first job in high school selling snowboards to leading sales teams of hundreds in the wireless retail industry, sales has always been his passion. Matt began to study communication in college at the University of Wyoming, but he later changed routes and earned a degree in sales from Weber State University – the only program of its kind in the nation.As a young salesperson Matt learned the basics at a car dealership where he won rookie of the year for the entire company. After he moved to the wireless industry, Matt was able to find his place as a leader. Working with AT&T retail, Matt consistently retained the top spot in sales for the entire company. During that time, Matt played a pivotal role in growing his region from 10 stores to over 250 and then eventually 1,100 locations nationwide. While with AT&T retail, Matt led several sales teams – the largest being over 300 strong. During his time at AT&T, Matt earned several awards including being a five-time President’s Club award winner.Just prior to becoming a coach, Matt was in the financial sales industry. He was asked to help build a business that was getting off the ground. While at RefiJet, Matt worked one-on-one with customers to give them financial advice, underwrite loans, and help them acquire backend products to secure their financial future. While there, Matt helped the company grow over 300% while consistently maintaining top performer status.Located in Fort Worth, Texas, Matt, his wife Brandy and their two dogs are avid travelers and very active. They have traveled all over North and South America as well as in Europe and Africa and are always on the lookout for the next adventure. An accomplished marathon/ultra-runner, Matt enjoys obstacle course racing (Spartan, Tough Mudder, etc.) and has completed over 50 such races. When he’s not putting in miles, Matt competes as a professional in the World Axe Throwing league where he is a regular fixture at tournaments and has even been on ESPN.
