Work with a team that helps the transportation disadvantaged in Tarrant County. We provide door to door service for clients in need. We have 40 vehicles, the majority that are ADA accessible. In 2021 we provided over 50,000 trips in the community. We are also very flexible. Helping deliver food during the pandemic and bringing community members to vaccination sites if they needed the transportation.

Manage multiple teams to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded in the logistics center. Using SAP I prepare and release work to the floor to fulfill customer orders. If there are any issues, such as short product, I research and locate or adjust the product out of inventory. If the floor locations, pick faces, do not have the adequate amount to fulfill the orders a replenishment is created to fulfill the orders. Sometimes orders are created to pick from the buffer locations to limit the double handling of product. If customer support needs an order cancelled or a ship via change it is taken care of by my team using SAP. There is a lot of multi-tasking in this position which entails prioritizing and problem solving throughout each day.

Using SAP I route inbound product to storage locations within the facility. The products have many variables, decisions need to be made on where the product will be placed in the warehouse as to provide the most efficient flow of material through the facility. This is a key position to help improve productivity, inventory accuracy, and space utilization in the warehouse. I am also involved with problem resolution if materials are not able to be placed in location due to multiple issues that may arise. Supervised up to a 40 member team for seven years in a Lean manufacturing environment. Through the assembly and manufacturing group, I have lead ergonomic, safety, and productivity improvements. Under my leadership, new lines have been developed, new processes implemented while consistently meeting production, quality, and labor goals. Wrote standardized work instructions for ISO certification. Wrote and administered semi-annual evaluations for all employees. Processed weekly timecards using computer program, Timterax. Entered daily production information into spreadsheets for accurate tracking of goals.

Upon arrival the shipping team needed direct supervision and accountability. I provided clear direction and expectations. The team became the most productive of all shifts and employee satisfaction increased immensely.Supervised up to 15 shipping employees. Unloaded production lines and stored or loaded product directly to truck loads. Working with the schedulers product was shipped via LTL or over the road. When orders were complete the shipment would be loaded ensuring complete shipment with no damage to the freight. Administered semi annual reviews and lead monthly safety training with the team.
