Matt Jones is President of TMA, and was appointed to his position January 1, 2016. As the President of TMA, Mr. Jones is responsible for developing and driving TMA’s strategic plan while providing the vision, direction and leadership to ensure the company reaches its goals. Additionally, Mr. Jones has responsibility for all activities related to identifying, assessing, developing, and capturing new business. Matt joined TMA in April of 2014 and led TMA to double digit growth and improved corporate performance by all financial measures. Mr. Jones was also elected to the TMA Board of Directors in June, 2015.Mr. Jones joined TMA from The Boeing Company where he led International Business Development for the C4ISR Division. In this capacity, Mr. Jones delivered double digit growth across the diverse portfolio for two consecutive years. Mr. Jones joined Boeing in July 2010 via the company’s acquisition of Argon ST, where he served for seven years. While at Argon, he led three years of successive growth as the profit-and-loss leader for Argon’s Cyber Client Services Division, in which capacity he oversaw Argon’s offices in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and San Antonio, Texas.Prior roles at Argon included lead marketing engineer, software usability asset leader, operator training leader and operator trainer. Before joining Argon in September 2003, Mr. Jones served eight years in the U.S. Navy as a cryptologist, in which capacity he served on surface ships, submarines, and supported various special operation missions.Mr. Jones currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College and an executive Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill’s OneMBA program.

Manager of Boeing’s C4ISR Division, Electronic and Sensor Systems (E&SS) International Business Development Portfolio. Lead a team of diverse engineers, program managers, and marketing and sales representatives to deliver on orders commitments across multiple product lines. Represent Boeing in an executive capacity, find new leads, identify capability gaps, and drive technology development. Responsible for overarching international strategy, long range business planning, orders tracking, direct labor forecasts, and program capture. Coordinate with U.S. and foreign governments, including embassies to secure technology release. Regularly meet with domestic and global industry senior executives from a broad set of countries to discuss global trends and emerging business opportunities.

Oversees all functions of the Annapolis Junction, Maryland and San Antonio, Texas offices. Establishes long-range business objectives, identifies new customers and opportunities. Forms, leads and coordinates capture strategies and teams. Works closely with all on-site and off-site personnel to formulate strategies that satisfy the requirements of the business, customers and clients. Typically represents the facility or operation to senior organization leadership. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient and effective operations.

Develops business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products. Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.

Provide concept of operations, user trends, and heuristic design reviews for software development activities. Understand systems, how they are used, and streamline task execution for users.
