I have been Principal at Ark Globe Academy (an all-through academy, for 3-18 year olds) since May 2012. I am driven by social justice and mobility and I fundamentally believe that every child has the right to a first class education. As Principal I am privileged to work with an amazing group of adults and children who are striving together to ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential and pursue the career of their choice.I work with a variety of organisations and institutions, such as Now Teach, to help improve outcomes for less advantaged groups. In 2015 I became the Chair of the Southwark Association of Secondary Headteachers (SASH), where I address issues in local Secondary schools and their communities. I am also the Founder and Chair of The Elephant Group, a charity that is committed to improving social mobility through the power of collaboration amongst school leaders and the wider education sector.
