· Assists in designing the audit strategy and approach, including the planning, testing, and completion stages of an audit · Plan and conduct audits for clients primarily in the in the Software and Internet industry ranging from a public companies to small private companies. · Responsible for testing many different financial statement line items including revenue, stock based compensation, and accruals in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. · On public engagements, experience in controls testing in compliance with SOX 404 and with PCAOB guidance over adequate audit documentation. · Responsible for evaluating and documenting the proper accounting treatment of several complex areas including Revenue Recognition (SOP 97-2, ASC 985-605), Internal Use Software (ASC 350), and Stock Based Compensation (ASC 718).· Review of forms 10K and 10Q, and ensuring their compliance with US GAAP and related SEC registrant requirements.· Liaison between engagement teams and the client for effectively communicating status, additional support needs, issues, and solutions (controller, VP of Finance, SEC Reporting Manager). · Supervise and review a team of associates and work directly with engagement partners, controllers, and CFOs to meet engagement budgets and schedules on a consistent basis. · Proficient in Microsoft Excel
